Restoration and Education Centre Appeal

Thanks to several more recent and generous donations, including from a lady who heard that because the donated rails had no sleepers to lay the track inside - she very generously paid for the remainder of the outstanding sleepers (204 sleepers at £25 each). It means we should be able to lay the track inside the building rather earlier than anticipated. The internal arrangements will offer a restoration track capable of taking two coaches or two locomotives and a shorter maintenance track, including room for two workshops (eventually) and a kitchen and toilet.
We still need to raise funds to install a mezzanine level which will provide an Education Centre and offices and we need money for a pit, which will help no end in loco maintenance, examinations etc.
