Easter Specials DRINK + HOTXBUN

Steam locomotive No.6412 will be operating four out of five train services on each day from Good Friday though to Easter Monday inclusive, 14 to 17 April 2017 - we're hoping to go almost the full length of the Line and over the Network Rail siding and nearly reach Princes Risborough, but it all depends on what we are able to do on the day. Please see below for departure times.

See the foothills of the Chilterns spring to life as the landscape becomes verdant and green: you might spot some of our local wildlife such as deer, and it is rather rare not to see the Red Kites whirling overhead. All the while your steam locomotive at one end of the train is lazily billowing out steam past your window and the vintage diesel at the other end is growling its way along on the gentle 8-mile round-trip.

Our volunteers will be delighted to serve you at your seat our complimentary hot drinks and hot cross buns or alternative squashes + tasty chocolate treats for children.

In addition, one of our Young Volunteers will be running the Easter Chick Hunt at the station - it's £2 to enter and everyone who finds all the 'hidden' chicks will get a chocolate Easter Egg - all profits will go to help support our new Young Volunteers section, who have their own restoration and activity projects underway.

Oh! and as we've previously found to our dismay... sometimes a big Easter Chick sneaks onto the train without buying a ticket - we're asking all children to tell us - if you see him please do shout out loud " Easter Chick! " and so that our volunteers can hopefully make him pay for his ticket!

Your travel tickets are valid all day long and you can travel on whichever trains you choose - the choice of where to sit is entirely yours!
