Sunday for Steam & Vintage Diesel

Steam locomotive No.6412 will be in operation on Sunday 25 June 2017 - please see below for departure times.

Whilst your steam locomotive is lazily billowing steam past your window and the vintage diesel is growling its way along the line on the gentle 45-minute round trip, our volunteers will be making their way through the train with an at-seat service of reasonably priced tea, coffee and light refreshments.

Your travel tickets are valid all day long and you can travel on whichever train you choose - there are plenty of seats on every train.

N.B. If you are looking for our delicious Ploughman's Lunches then we are sorry but these seats are already sold-out.

DEPARTURE TIMES:

Steam hauled trains depart Chinnor station at 11.00, 12.15, 13.30, 15.00 and 16.30 (the steam locomotive is at one end of the train and the diesel locomotive at the other end). Each round trip takes about 45 minutes in duration. Trains operate to Thame Junction only on Sunday as we are unable to go over the Network Rail connection to the Princes Risborough siding due to extensive engineering works taking place over the weekend.

There is a large free car park (with CCTV), tea room and souvenir shop at Chinnor station.
