Terms and Conditions

ON-LINE TICKET PURCHASE POLICY

We are unable to issue exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. When you receive your tickets, please keep them in a safe place. Tickets purchased on www.chinnorrailway.co.uk may be subject to a non-refundable per order processing fee.

Unless otherwise arranged, eTickets will be emailed to customers using the email address that they have provided. It is recommended that customer print the eTicket and bring it with them for presentation at the railway. As an alternative presentation of a smartphone or tablet with a legible display of the eTicket will be accepted. If an eTicket has been accidentally deleted or is otherwise unavailable please contact the railway’s General Enquiries on 07979 055366.

Occasionally, services may be cancelled or rescheduled for a variety of reasons. If the service is cancelled, please contact the railway’s General Enquiries on 07979 055366 for information on receiving a refund. If the service was moved or rescheduled, C&PRR Co Ltd may set refund limitations.

Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person, per credit/debit card and, for some services a restriction may apply per household. We reserve the right to cancel tickets without prior notice if purchased in excess if this limit.

TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tickets are issued subject to the C&PRR Co Ltd.

Please check your tickets as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain whether a service has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged service. If a service is cancelled, rescheduled or has a change of motive power we will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation once we have received the relevant authorisation from the C&PRR Co Ltd. Please note that we cannot guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of travel.

The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any Rules and Regulations of the C&PRR Co Ltd. The C&PRR Co Ltd may on occasions have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

Other than exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the C&PRR Co Ltd we regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.

The C&PRR Co Ltd cannot be held responsible for any tickets which are lost or stolen. We reserve the right to cancel ticket bookings which it reasonably suspects to have been made fraudulently.

If tickets are re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the C&PRR Co Ltd, it may be voided and the holder may be refused travel.

The C&PRR Co Ltd operates a strict No Smoking policy, including vaping, on any part of its premises including the trains.

The C&PRR Co Ltd accepts no responsibility for any personal property. Ticket holders consent to photography, filming and sound recording.

If a service is rescheduled, ticket holders will be offered tickets to the rescheduled service equivalent to the face value of the ticket. If a service is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered travel on an alternative service (subject to availability) up to the value on the ticket.

All of these terms and conditions are governed by English Law.

The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and C&PRR Co Ltd regulations whilst traveling. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the railway to refuse to carry you as a passenger.

Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person. We reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number.

The C&PRR Co Ltd does not guarantee that the trains will arrive or depart at the times stated and reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train without notice, or to substitute a different engine should this be necessary for whatever reason.

Part of our access to Princes Risborough Station is via Network Rail lines. Permission may be withdrawn by them at a moment's notice because of immediate requirement by them due to unplanned events and no refunds are due in these circumstances. 

Your customer details will only be used for marketing purposes of the C&PRR Co Ltd and will not be passed to any Third-Party Company for marketing use. Please see our Privacy Policy for specific information on how we collect, use and store your data.
