We have a volunteer vacancy for an On-Board Catering Manager to work within the Passenger Services group to provide a first class service to our customers.
Applicants must have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be prepared to travel on the trains frequently during the operating season. The role will involve liaising with other members of the Passenger Service team to ensure correct staffing levels for the Luncheon and Afternoon Tea Car, Evening Dining Services and the At Seat Trolley Service. Stock control, purchasing and arranging deliveries for food and associated catering items will also be required. A suitable position for someone with a catering background or an interest in being involved in this aspect of the operation. Training will be provided.
