• Gentle circular walk from Chinnor Station in dry weather.
• Includes a picnic area with views over the Aylesbury Vale and the Railway.
• Some hills & uneven ground. Suitable for walking families. About 1-hour for a gentle stroll.

1. Take the pathway running through the car park to the main road. Cross the road to the pavement on the other side and turn left. Walk over the railway bridge to the other side of the Railway. Carry on down the hill and take the first right (shows ‘No Entry’ to cars but is a one-way system, so do take care).
2. As you reach the bottom, you’ll see the parish church of St Andrew’s on the right.
3. Turn right on to Church Road. Pass the shops on your right then turn right at the end onto Keens Lane. Follow Keens Lane as it bears left just after the Post Office and becomes narrower. A few yards later ignore the new road on the left and continue along the Lane.
4. The houses thin out and the lane becomes a bridleway as it approaches the railway crossing. Walk over the railway line carefully, keeping a lookout for trains, and continue up the hill, passing a footpath on the left, until you reach the broad Ridgeway or Upper Icknield Way.
5. Turn right and walk until you see the entrance onto the playing field on the right. Formerly known as ‘The REC’, this has been christened ‘The Village Green’ and there are picnic tables here for public use.
6. Cross the playing field to the far-left corner where there are steps down to the main road. Take great care crossing the road to the pavement on the other side.
7. Make your way down the hill and you will see the railway car park ahead.
