**Stop Press - Chinnor road works**
Chinnor Village has ongoing major road works, which means that Station Road will stay closed until 9 October. You should please allow extra time for diversions and particularly if you are planning to travel via Thame on the B4445 and Princes Risborough on the B4009. Please consult the AA Journey Planner (or similar) in advance of your journey. These works are for SGN gas work improvements.

Arriving by Car at Chinnor: The Railway is situated in Kiln Avenue, Chinnor, which is just off the B4009. Please set your SatNav to OX39 4BZ - the postal authorities don't issue a postcode for our free car park (which is opposite the station), but if you follow OX39 4BZ you will see the car park as you proceed along Kiln Avenue.

We are easy to reach by car as Junction 6 on the M40 is just 3 miles away and Princes Risborough is 4 miles further along the B4009. Once you arrive in Chinnor village please follow the brown tourism signs displaying the steam locomotive to reach the Railway.

For train ticket holders there is FREE car parking at Chinnor station - please contact us at enquiries@chinnorrailway.co.uk to ask about our level access route to the trains.

Arriving by Bus at Chinnor: Bus route link40 is provided by Carousel Buses which runs at approximately hourly intervals between Thame and High Wycombe via Chinnor.
