Christmas & The Aca-Holics Quartet

We are delighted to say the Aca-Holics, who are a four part a cappella barbershop quartet, will be singing at intervals on Chinnor station for your enjoyment on Sunday 23 December. Consisting of Laura Ogle - singing lead, Czarmé Pooley - baritone, Sue Hunt - tenor and Katy Donaghue singing bass, their name comes from their love of singing a cappella music... as the ladies are addicted to singing (not alcohol!).

The quartet formed in July 2013 from members of Capital Connection and Signature; both choruses are affiliated to the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers. In keeping with true barbershop tradition, they rehearse every week at Gateway Barbers on Lane End High Street in Buckinghamshire, as Laura is the village barber. Aca-Holics were awarded two gold medals in their first ever competition at the Surrey Fringe Festival in Guildford.
