Watlington Fryer Quiz Night:

The Watlington Fryer vintage diesel-hauled train departs Chinnor station on Saturday evening 01 June; 20 July; 31 August 2024 for a fun and brain teasing Fish and Chip Quiz Night!

A selection of pub-priced beers, wines and soft drinks are available to purchase in advance when you make your booking - please make your selection at the checkout stage below. You can also make additional purchases on the train and our volunteer stewards will take your orders and serve them at your seats.

• The evening commences at 19.00 when guests join the train at Chinnor for 3-rounds of general knowledge on the first return trip from Chinnor station
• When the train arrives back at Chinnor a locally fried Fish & Chip supper will be served on the train
• The evening continues on a second trip of the line with further rounds of general knowledge and a picture round
• Answers and prizes for the winning team will be given out prior to the train arriving back at Chinnor and the evening finishes at approximately 22.30

Price £32 per person which includes on-board supper.

2. Tickets are limited and must be pre-booked.
3. Cost is £32 per person.
4. Teams are usually comprised of up to 4 people - we try to seat larger groups together, but you will be competing against one another. Passengers are seated at tables of 2, 3 or 4. 
5. Your meal is a freshly fried Fish and Chip Supper - alternatives, which must be selected at the time of booking, include Steak Pie & chips, Sausage & chips, or Veggie Burger & chips. Sorry, we are unable to provide gluten free or any other special dietary needs.
6. Our beers, wines and soft drinks are available at pub prices, and we respectfully ask guests to purchase their first round of drinks in advance. The modest profits go towards supporting our charity so that the heritage line can be passed on for future generations to enjoy. For those who still prefer to bring their own alcoholic drinks there is a £10-corkage charge.
7. Car Parking at Chinnor station is FREE of charge (Sat Nav OX39 4BZ).
