Quiz night and ploughman's platter

Our vintage diesel-hauled train will be at Chinnor station on Saturday evening 4 July for a fun and brain teasing Ploughman's Platter Quiz Night.

A selection of beers, wines and soft drinks will be available to purchase on the train and our volunteer stewards will take your orders and serve them at your seats.

• The evening commences at 19.00 when guests join the train at Chinnor for a general knowledge quiz
• Your Ploughman's platter will be served on the train 
• The evening continues with further rounds of general knowledge and a picture round
• A raffle will be held with exciting prizes donated by the Railway
• Answers and prizes for the winning team plus the raffle will conclude the evening which finishes at approximately 22.30

£27.50 each person

We will aim to make up tables of four, so if you book two seats we may add you to another table of two to make up a team.  

Details

1. Tickets are limited and must be pre-booked
2. Your ticket includes a plougman's platter and one raffle ticket
3. Additional raffle tickets will be available on the night
4. Teams are up to 4 people 
5. Your meal is a freshly prepared Ploughman's with cheese and ham or cheese and egg, piece of sausage roll (vegetarian option available), roll and butter plus a salad and fruit garnish. We are unable to provide gluten free or any other special dietary needs
6. Beers, wines and soft drinks are available and all profit go towards supporting our charity so that the heritage line can be passed on for future generations to enjoy
7. There is a £10-corkage charge for those who prefer to bring their own alcoholic drinks 
8. Car parking at Chinnor station is FREE of charge (Sat Nav OX39 4BZ)
9. Wheelchair spaces are not available due to the heritage layout of the coaches - for information please call 07979 055366
10. Only assistance or guide dogs are allowed on our dining trains.
