All Seniors 60+ travel for only £5.00 on 15 Sept 2019. That's just a fiver for unlimited journeys on the day shown on your ticket!
Just sit back, relax and watch the steam lazily curl past your window or listen to the vintage diesel growling along the line - your train follows the escarpment of the Chiltern Hills with lovely views and Whiteleaf Cross in the distance, and you may see Red Kites, perhaps local deer, and other wildlife too.
A through the train catering trolley begins on the 11.00 from Chinnor and will offer throughout the day an at-seat service of paid-for teas, coffees, light refreshments and snacks.
We've still got a limited number of Cream Teas available on the 16.30 departure from Chinnor - once they're gone, they're gone!
If you are looking for something more to do whilst in Chinnor then see our guide 'Stroll Around Chinnor Village' which includes links to the Wee Bookshop and The Village Centre for food and drink, ditto Bar/Restaurant meals in local pubs, or say visit the Windmill (generally open first and third Sunday in the month) or the local Church, and the guide also lists other places that may be of interest.
At Chinnor station there is a large FREE car park for train ticket holders - plus a small tea room and souvenir shop is available.
