Senior Specials 60+ YEARS 5

All Seniors 60+ travel for only £5.00 on 1 July & 9 September 2018. That's just a fiver for unlimited journeys on the day shown on your ticket!

So sit back, relax and watch the steam lazily curl past your window - your train follows the escarpment of the Chiltern Hills with lovely views gradually opening out to Whiteleaf Cross in the distance, and you may see Red Kites, perhaps local deer, and other wildlife too.

On 01 July ONLY trains will depart Chinnor station at 11.00 (steam only), 12.15 (vintage diesel only), 13.30 (steam only), 15.00 (steam only) and 16.30 (steam only). Each round trip is EITHER steam OR vintage diesel hauled to and from Thame Junction ONLY - whilst our volunteers are busily constructing both a platform and run-around loop at Princes Risborough, and the return journey takes approximately 50 minutes in duration.

On 09 September trains will depart Chinnor station and Princes Risborough station (Platform 4) as shown below. Trains will be both steam and vintage diesel hauled and will be 'top and tailed' until our volunteers are able to reconstruct additional track and pointwork, to allow the locomotive to detach and re-attach at the head of the train:
