The railway station at Chinnor has appeared in the popular TV series Midsomer Murders on several occasions. In March 2007 the station became Holm Lane Junction for Death in a Chocolate Box, which was produced by Bentley Productions and first shown on ITV on the 11 May 2008. Station signs were changed, buffers were installed and the station platform and train were drenched, all to create the illusion. You can also see several more images below which were captured by our volunteers Trevor and Rob on the day of filming. See also The Made to Measure Murders and Wainhill (which is a little further up the Line). Why not come along and visit the station, take those memorable images on your own camera and of course, do please ride the Railway - to find out more about all the locations used in the TV series simply go to visitmidsomer.co
