A book on The Watlington Branch of the Great Western Railway has been published by Brian J Dickson, a long standing member and volunteer at the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway. Comprising 32 pages of monochrome text and photographs with a colour cover in A4 format, it contains unique sketches, drawings and photographs of the buildings and track layouts at the stations and halts on the branch (great for modellers). All profits from the sale of the book go to the Railway to help in the maintenance and running of the railway.
The book is now in its 3rd edition with minor additions covering Princes Risborough North Signal Box and the Independent Line (the old line running out of Princes Risborough alongside the Network Rail spur) now refurbished and allowing Chinnor's trains to access Princes Risborough avoiding the Network Rail line.
It is available for £7.50 from the shop at Chinnor Station, which is open during normal operating days.
Alternatively, buy from our eBay shop for £7.50, plus £3.25 UK postage and £10 non-UK postage.
