There’s much more to Heritage Railways than just the trains! The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway is an important component of the region's tourism industry generating value to the local visitor economy. The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Heritage Railways previously found that a mean benefit to the local economy was around 2.7 times our Railway's turnover - which means that in excess of £1,000,000.00 will be spent locally in shops, on accommodation etc. Heritage Railways more generally provide social, community and wellbeing benefits to volunteers and visitors alike.
