Are you a good organiser? The Railway is now looking to recruit new Volunteer Event Coordinators to help extend our special events and attract even more families and adult couples.
The line is operated and managed by volunteers, and we pride ourselves on the great experience offered to all our visitors. Events add new interest to our Standard Days and ‘just-a-train-ride’ offer, and they attract new customers and also cause repeat trips from our existing visitors.
Given trains run mostly at weekends, being able to work then is important. Experience in Event Management or Event Planning could also be helpful, together with having additional ideas and/or experience of working with third parties - but enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ attitude, is just as valuable!
