Day Rover and Sparkling Afternoon Tea in the train restaurant:

A combined Day Rover Ticket and Sparkling Afternoon Tea offer is the perfect opportunity for relaxing on a day or half-day out.

Our volunteer stewards will be delighted to welcome you onboard and serve your sparkling afternoon tea, together with a glass of prosecco and afterwards your choice of tea, coffee, or soft drink.

Sit back, relax and enjoy your day - watch the steam lazily curl past your window as the lovely views gradually open out to reveal the Vale of Aylesbury and Whiteleaf Cross in the distance. For further information see our Journey Guide HERE.

Tickets

Day rover ticket and sparkling afternoon tea is £42.50 per person with a minimum of 2-persons per table. Seat reservations for the train restaurant are included. Passengers are seated at tables of 2, 3 or 4 persons. 

You can also travel on our other train services throughout the day in our unreserved seating areas.

Menu

• Welcome drink - glass of sparkling prosecco, or orange/apple juice, plus a 200ml bottle of still water
• Afternoon Tea - selection of savouries, sandwiches (vegetarian option available), homemade scone with jam and cream and cake
• Tea, coffee or soft drink

Further Details

1. Tickets must be booked - reservations will close when the tables are full, or the previous Thursday at 18.00 hours
2. No further discounts or concessions in the train restaurant
3. If you have purchased a gift voucher via Adventure001, Buy A Gift, Virgin Experience Days, Activity Superstore, Red Letter Days, Groupon,  Travel Zoo, Wowcher then these can ONLY be redeemed by Adventure001
4. We are unable to provide for any special dietary needs
5. Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate a wheelchair in the train restaurant
6. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the train restaurant.
