Our dedicated volunteer, John, has created a fantastic ‘Pull & Push’ children’s railway layout at Chinnor station marquee, designed especially for kids aged 3–7.
This interactive setup allows children to pull or push trains through various scenic locations, including a city, a town with a castle and harbour, a seaside village, and even a slate quarry and mine. There’s also a surprise area for added fun!
The layout covers 96 square feet, with over 40 feet of track and four panoramic areas to explore. It’s a hands-on experience, not just for the little ones but also for parents, grandparents, and older children who might enjoy being a ‘train driver’ too!
John and his fellow volunteer, Jack, are looking for DBS qualified helpers to assist with this delightful project. If you can spare some time, please get in touch with John. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
