Chinnor Open Gardens takes place on 01 & 02 June 2024 - properties are open from 13.00 - 18.00 each day. If you are coming to the Railway for:

• Watlington Fryer Quiz Night on Saturday 01 June then why not come ealier and enjoy a stroll around the gardens in the late afternoon?
• Standard Day on Sunday 02 June to enjoy steam and vintage diesel rides and then weave in a visit to the gardens too!

Discover a world of hidden garden gems … and raise money for amazing local charities and community groups while you explore! You can buy your ticket on the weekend at any of the gardens taking part and tickets are just £5 per person for the whole weekend. History:
Over a decade of opening Chinnor village gardens up to the public … welcoming people from all over the country to join in the weekend celebration. The event has raised over £45,000 for local charities and community groups, including bringing groups of older people from the Friendship Club for rides on the steam trains.

Good for everyone:
Everyone is welcome at Open Gardens and it really is an event for all ages. There is even a miniature railway tucked away in one of the gardens. Many are wheelchair accessible and many welcome visitors with dogs on a lead. Find their details in the downloadable booklet HERE.

Not just lovely gardens:
