Class 50 Mileage Day with 50008

This is an exclusive Class 50 running day with five return trips to and from Risborough with

50008 providing the traction all day!

Coaching stock will be the London Underground 4-TC set

This combination will give enthusiasts - and everyone else - a top-notch Class 50 only day outing!

Princes Risborough depart: 09.55, 11.20, 12.30, 13.50, 15.15, 16.35 (no return from Chinnor) 

Chinnor depart: 10.45, 12.05, 13.15, 14.45, 16.00

You can join our trains at either Chinnor or Princes Risborough stations.

Fares

Tickets are day rovers and valid on every train and all day long! No seat reservations.

Adult, concession, resident and child tickets may be purchased at stations (prices below) or online until 14.00 on the day of travel. Online the 'adult' tickets are generally £1 cheaper than buying at stations (plus a £2 agency fee per transaction):

• Adult (16-59 yrs) £16
• Concession (senior 60+ yrs, Adult National Railcard) £14
• Resident (adult, concession or senior living in postcodes OX39 or HP27) £11
• Kids-for-a-Quid (accompanied 3-15 years maximum 2 children per adult/concession/resident ticket holder) £1
• 0-2 yrs Free (no ticket required)
  

On the train: residents please show proof of local address, or show concessionary cards if asked.

Other concessionary cards - we accept HRA privilege cards, TOC/Network Rail Privilege Cards, Members cards and Directors passes. Tickets are only available on the day of travel at station ticket offices. 

Single tickets (for travel in one direction) are only available on the day of travel at station ticket offices - adult (16-59 yrs) £12, concession £10, accompanied child £1. 

Less-able concessionary tickets - for visually impaired or those whose disability necessitates a carer. Tickets for the less-able person and one accompanying carer travelling together are only available at station ticket offices for the total cost of £16.00. 

Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate a wheechair user on this day due to the stock formation.

Well-behaved small dogs are always welcome and travel Free - they must be kept on a short lead and must NOT be allowed on the seats. Do bring a blanket for them to sit on the floor. Dogs are NOT allowed in any restaurant or dining areas (except assistant dogs).

Buggies and strollers CANNOT be accommodated on the trains. They may be left on the station platform or in your vehicle.
