Car-parking: at Princes Risborough station is arranged via Chiltern Railways and provided by APCOA - the Off-Peak parking fee on Saturdays, Sundays and after 12.00 on weekdays is £5.75 (on Weekdays before 12.00 hours is £8.90). Payment is via the Chiltern Railway station ticket machines and Debit/Credit Card, or you can pay by the RingGo App. In Princes Risborough town the nearest designated parking is the Mount car park (it is a 15-20 minute walk down Manor Park Avenue to the Station). On Sunday parking is a flat rate of £1.70 at the Mount Car Park or Monday -Saturday up to 3 Hours - £1.20 and payment is by debit/credit Card, or the RingGo App.
Public-transport: there is an easy interchange between Chiltern Railways and our steam trains at Princes Risborough station - access to all station platforms is via the footbridge and there are station lifts for those with accessability needs. Car-parking: the Railway is situated in Kiln Avenue, Chinnor, which is just off the B4009. The car-park is owned by the Railway and is FREE for train ticket holders. Please set your SatNav to OX39 4BZ - you will see the car park on the right hand side as you proceed along Kiln Avenue. We are easy to reach by car as Junction 6 on the M40 is just 3 miles away and Princes Risborough is 4 miles further along the B4009. Once you arrive in Chinnor village please follow the brown tourism signs displaying the steam locomotive to reach the Railway. Public-transport: bus route Service 40 is provided by Red Rose Travel which runs at approximately hourly intervals between Thame and High Wycombe via Chinnor on weekdays and Saturdays. On Sundays Service 40 operates at approximately 2-hourly intervals from areas such as High Wycombe, Stokenchurch, Thame, etc. Alight and re-join buses at Chinnor Village Hall, which is just a 5-7 minutes stroll to / from Chinnor station. Bus route No 275 is provided by Red Rose Travel which is a limited service between Oxford and High Wycombe via Chinnor. There are 3 services in each direction on Mondays to Fridays only (please note there is No Saturday or Sunday service). Alight and re-join buses at Chinnor Railway Station bus stop in Kiln Avenue, which is a short walk to Chinnor station.
