EMUPS Open Day:

Resident at the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway is a former Southern Region Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) which belongs to the EMU preservation Society (EMUPS). They are holding an EMUPS open day on Saturday 24 February to let EMU fans, and anyone else, have a look around the train.

The train has been used for diesel galas, Network Rail training days and has been booked for filming. It is thus not used on general weekends, so this open day is a chance for EMU enthusiasts to take a good look.

The EMUPS open day is FREE to everyone, however EMUPS would like you to register so that they can manage numbers. You can do so HERE

As the Railway is not operational, the open day is a static train display. The buffet car will be open and serving tea, coffee and hot food, as well as alcoholic drinks, subject to licence. There will be other attractions and displays on board the train. Children and pets are welcome.

GETTING HERE:
As well as the station car park, there will be a shuttle bus running between Princes Risborough Station and Chinnor. There is more information on this on the EMUPS website HERE

OTHER LOCAL THINGS TO SEE & DO:
If you are looking for something more to do in Chinnor village or Princes Risborough town, or more generally in the local area - please see our What to see and do section for information.

EMUPS look forward to your visit and thank you for your support.
