There's something extra special on Sundays 15 March, 21 June and 20 September - Sentinel Engine 'Joyce' will be offering Brake Van Rides at Princes Risborough between service trains, running between 10.30 and 15.30.
The Brake Van rides will take place between Platform 4 at Princes Risborough to the section signal on the independent line, offering a chance to travel behind a unique locomotive, on track that is not often travelled in passenger service.
Even better, you don't have to pre-book - just turn up and wait on the day.
We don't charge for these, but we suggest a cash or card donation of between £2- £5 for travelling.
There's no restrictions on the age of travellers, but we will be limited to 10 people on each trip.
Please note that if you have a brake van ride you will need to catch a later train back to Chinnor.
